The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) won three awards of the prestigious competition for good practices in the state administration organized by the Institute for Public Administration (IPA) at the end of 2017.

The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) won the grand prize of the traditional competition "IT Project of the Year" organized by the newspaper „Computerworld“ and DSK Bank in Bulgaria.

The Bulgarian National Assembly Voted Unanimously the Governor and the Deputy Governor of NSSI for Another Term of Four Years. On 29^th July, 2016 the Governor of the National Social Security Institute (NSSI) Mr Biser Petkov and the Deputy Governor of the institution Ms Vesela Karaivanova were reelected to these high posts for another term of four years.

During the Regional Social Security Forum for Europe, which was held from 18th to 20th April 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden, the National Social Security Institute (NSSI) was awarded a special prize for excellence in the electronic documents and data exchange for payment of short-term benefits.

The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) celebrated its 20^th anniversary with the conference "20 Years National Social Security Institute - Achievements, Challenges and Prospects".
